A ranch style home nestled on a hill with amazing panoramic ocean views was the site of an extensive renovation The renovation highlighted the tremendous view and created an impressive new home. The challenge was to create a landscape which was just as impressive!
The style of the home was ranch with a contemporary flair. The landscape was designed to stay consistent with the theme, but also to bring in many of the clients wishes, such as edible gardens, cut flower gardens, lounge areas, fire pit, large grass area, to name a few.
The challenge was to create a clear path to the front door, while highlighting the renovated pool and surroundings. An angled slate path was added to lead guests to the front door, passing rock gardens filled with succulents and evergreens. As you stroll along the front path the newly renovated pool steals your view with lush, yet low water plantings and warm inviting gathering areas.
