This beautiful property is nestled away in an oak grove along a small creek in east Carlsbad. The drive to reach the home is along a small dirt road surrounded by oak trees and California natives. The entry road has the feel of an 'Enchanted Forest', new surprises at every curve. The design was developed to stay in theme with the area. An Oak tree grove was added along the clients' driveway with California and Australian native under plantings. A DG path meanders up the slope, and is criss-crossed with boulders and a dry creek bed. The creek bed not only is aesthetically pleasing, but serves as a swale for drainage system during rainy periods. This landscape is steadily improving each year and is home to many happy birds, bees and butterflies!
